Home Workout To Build Muscle

How do you design a home workout to build muscle? You combine circuit training with bodyweight movements.

Circuit training is a style of workout where different exercises are performed back to back with little rest in between. It is an effective and efficient way to workout. When one muscle group is resting, another group is working, allowing you to work your entire body in less time. Plus, limiting rest between exercises elevates your heart rate and keeps it there so you get a cardio workout while building strength.

Can you really build muscle without going to the gym? Absolutely! When you combine the effectiveness and efficiency of circuit training workouts with bodyweight exercises, you get a home workout to build muscle that doesn’t require a single piece of equipment.

What to do:

Perform each exercise for the designated number of reps. Do not rest between exercises. Rest 1minute between circuits. Repeat the entire workout two times.

30 Forward Lunges

20 Flutter Kicks

10 Push Ups

Rest 1 Minute

CIRCUIT 2

30 Sumo Squats

20 Knee To Elbow Plank

10 Up/Down Planks

Rest 1 Minute

CIRCUIT 3

30 Squat/Lunges

20 Bicycle Crunches

10 Plank Shoulder Taps

Rest 1 Minute

Repeat 2X
