You may think that building a strong body requires a gym full of equipment. However, all you need to build muscle is a pair of dumbbells and 20 minutes. Dumbbell workouts at home can be just as powerful for building total body strength as workouts in a fully equipped gym.
A pair of dumbbells makes it possible to work all your muscles – glutes, hamstrings, quads, arms, shoulders, back, and core – all from the comfort of your home or a quiet corner of the gym.
The design of this workout uses a time-saving superset structure. A superset means that you perform two exercises that emphasize different muscle groups back to back. Not resting between exercises will save time and elevate your heart rate, challenging your muscles as well as your cardiorespiratory fitness.
One pair of dumbbells heavy enough to make the last couple of reps difficult.
Perform each exercise for the designated number of reps. Do not rest between exercises. Rest one minute between supersets. Repeat each superset three times.
